Government Attendee

Government agency registration is priced at $225.00 and enables your organization to send an unlimited number of staff to the program. The event’s educational content will be mirrored over two days, allowing you to send one group on Day 1 and another on Day 2. Please ensure you purchase sufficient full day meal passes ($25 per person) for all attendees.

Snolympics Obstacle Course Requiring Pre-Registration

Government agencies are permitted to send one team to compete in the popular Snolympics Games featuring our snowplow obstacle course. Pre-registration is required (limited capacity available). Admission for the obstacle course is priced at $50.00. Teams must include two persons, and each person must have a valid CDL License on the day of the event.

    • Single Axel Obstacle Course Team Admission
      • Date: September 9, 2026
      • Description: This optional session allows your agency to create a team of two persons to compete in our Snolympics roadeo obstacle course. The course will be run on 15-minute intervals and team timing assignments will be shared closer to the event date. All team members must have a CDL License. Walkthrough will be on Wednesday, Sept 9th at 8am. Awards will be given between approximately 1:30pm-2:00pm on September 10th.
    • Tandem Axel Obstacle Course Team Admission
      • Date: September 10, 2026
      • Description: This optional session allows your agency to create a team of two persons to compete in our Snolympics roadeo obstacle course. The course will be run on 15-minute intervals and team timing assignments will be shared closer to the event date. All team members must have a CDL License. Walkthrough will be on Thursday, September 10th at 8am. Awards will be given between approximately 1:30pm-2:00pm on September 10th.

Educational Sessions Requiring Pre-Registration (limited capacity available)

Excavation and Trenching Safety in Roadway Construction

  • Session dates: Full day course offered on September 9th and September 10th
  • Session description: This session thoroughly explores the dangers associated with trenches and excavations, including cave-ins, falls, equipment rollovers, hazardous atmospheres, traffic disruptions, electrocutions, water-related issues, and unexpected encounters with underground utilities. Developed with the support of the OSHA Harwood Grant and led by ARTBA, this course focuses on recognizing these hazards and implementing effective prevention measures. Combining expert knowledge and practical strategies empowers workers and their leaders to navigate the complexities of excavation and trenching with confidence and safety. Our commitment is to make trenching and excavation work safer for all, equipping you with the insights needed to maintain the highest protection standards in these challenging environments.

Project Management for Local Agencies

  • Session dates: Full day course offered on September 9th and September 10th (single day course)
  • Session description: This session provides local agency staff with tools and strategies for successfully managing transportation, infrastructure, and community projects from start to finish. Participants will learn the fundamentals of project management, including setting clear objectives, developing realistic timelines, allocating resources, and coordinating with stakeholders. The course offers practical approaches to addressing common challenges local agencies face, such as budget constraints, regulatory requirements, and communication across departments. Through real-world examples, group discussion, and interactive exercises, participants will gain a stronger understanding of how to keep projects on track, minimize risks, and deliver results that meet community needs.
